ACHTUNG! Lower the lid!

September 09, 2011

Lower the lid

I’ve worked up a whole series of propaganda-inspired prints to decorate our new office with… After receiving a whole ton of emails and sitting in countless meetings with some our management staff about the new rules of the new office (rules about how to wash our hands, clean out the refrigerator in the break room, turn off our equipment at night… closing the door to conserve A/C … you name it, we were told about it), I decided to ‘help’ them get the message across.

This one came to life because one of the managers was extremely upset about men and women sharing the bathrooms.

Just Dive

Just Dive

I’ve found that once I got my SCUBA certification this past year, it seems that all I want to do is get in the water more and more.  You’d think that living in Florida would present me with opportunity after opportunity- alas, not the case… sure- there’s plenty of water to dive in, all around me… but I need to actually find the time to get out there.

Wind Energy

Wind Energy

Playing with some other design ideas… I saw some commercial with a huge array of these windmills stretching across the land… it was such an interesting visual- with the sharp, hard lines of the windmills contrasted by the rolling hills.

Welcome

September 05, 2011

For a while now, I’ve been looking for an avenue to sort of showcase some of my work.

I decided on a blog because I wasn’t really down with a typical “portfolio” site, and I wanted something a bit more robust than Facebook.

This is still very much a work-in-progress, and I have plans to start going through some of my old work and projects to post- more than a decade in the graphic design/flash dev world makes for a lot of crap to filter though…
